Carol Bragg Thomson

Carol Bragg Thomson, 66, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Tranquility, the Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell, GA after a short illness. The Savannah native was a 1961 graduate of Savannah High School and attended Armstrong Jr. College and Armstrong State College. After school, she worked as Executive Assistant for several large area businesses. She then went on, along with her husband, to own, manage and operate several restaurants for nearly 30 years. After leaving Savannah in 2004, she and her husband moved to Hiram , GA where she was a communicant of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Dallas, GA.

She is survived by her husband, E. Conrad Thomson, Jr. of Hiram , GA , one son, Christopher Robert Thomson, of New York , NY , one daughter, Ms. Aimee Thomson Bowman, three grandchildren, Hannah Grace Bowman, David Andrew Bowman, and Hunter McClellan Bowman, all of Memphis TN. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Kathy B. Herndon William C., of Savannah , and Mrs. Nancy B. Brumfield Pete L., of Acworth, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Bonaventure Cemetery .
